tank practice of the EPA Design Manual for on-site wastewater treatment and disposal systems is <br /> required for each parcel. A permit fee of$93.00 per percolation hole is required. <br /> b. State on revised site plans the maximum number of employees and customers the sewage <br /> disposal system is being designed for. In addition, show on revised plans that the leach field area <br /> will be barricaded so that it cannot be driven over, parked on, or used as a storage area. This <br /> leach field area must be used for that specific purpose only, and it cannot contain any <br /> underground utility lines (Development Title Section 9-1110.4[c][5]). In addition, the revised site <br /> plan shall incorporate the 100 percent designed sewage disposal replacement area_ <br /> c. Prior to the issuance of building permits, a pit well next to the agricultural well shall be properly <br /> destroyed under permit and inspection by the Environmental Health Department. (Development <br /> Title Section 9-1115.5[e]) <br /> d. The agricultural well must be repaired under permit and inspection by the Environmental Health <br /> Department(Development Title Section 9-1115.4[e]). Agricultural discharge pipes utilizing an air <br /> gap for back-flow prevention shall maintain an air gap equal to the size of the discharge pipe but <br /> not less than six inches. The discharge pipe shall also have two 114-inch slits extending six <br /> inches from the bottom of the pipe and opposite each other, or a back-flow device approved by <br /> San Joaquin County must be installed. <br /> e. Construct a water well under permit and inspection of the Environmental Health Department prior <br /> to occupancy. Should the number of non-resident individuals exceed 24 for at least 60 days per <br /> year, or the number of service connections exceed four, a yearly permit to operate a public water <br /> system will be required by the Environmental Health Department. (Development Title Sections 9- <br /> 1120.2 and 9-1115.9) <br /> The supplier must possess adequate financial, managerial, and technical capability to ensure the <br /> delivery of pure, wholesome, and potable drinking water in accordance with Development Title <br /> Sections 9-1120.2 and 9-1115.9, CCR, Title 22, and Health and Safety Code Sections 116525 <br /> through 116570. <br /> NOTE: Contact Adrienne Ellsaesser, Lead Senior RFHS at 468-0343 to determine if the existing <br /> well can be used until the new well is constructed for the interim use <br /> f. Construction of individual sewage disposal systems under permit and inspection by <br /> Environmental Health is required at the time of development based on the Soil Suitability/Nitrate <br /> Loading Study findings. (Development Title Sections 9-1110.3 and 9-1110.4) <br /> g. Open, pump, and backfill the septic tank, seepage pit, or excavation under permit and inspection <br /> by Environmental Health. (Development Title Sections 9-1110.3 and 9-1110.4) <br /> h. Demolition of all dilapidated structures and removal of all demolition material from the premises to <br /> an approved landfill site are required in accordance with San Joaquin County Ordinance Code <br /> Section 5-2401. <br /> 4 COUNCIL OF GOVERNMENTS <br /> a.
