i <br /> 1.0 INTRODUCTION <br /> I <br /> I <br /> Technical Studies, Inc. (TEST) has prepared this Soil Suitability Study Report for the property <br /> located 12828 N. Sacramento Road, Lodi, California 95240 on behalf of Mr. Taj Khan president <br /> California Islamic Center (owner), for submittal to the San Joaquin County, Environmental <br /> Health Department (EHD). Most of the site information (required in Soil Suitability Study <br /> Requirements Checklist) are presented in the Nitrate Loading Study (NLS)prepared by James D <br /> Robinson, PE, CEG. This report includes remaining information including groundwater <br /> analytical test results and percolation test results. <br /> The purpose of the soil suitability study report is to evaluate the quality of groundwater and soil <br /> beneath the California Islamic Center site in accordance with San Joaquin County requirements. <br /> The scope of work was completed according to the San Joaquin County, Community <br /> Development Department "Conditions Of Approval" use permit application No. PA-0800259 <br /> (APN: 058-070-23) dated May 27, 2009. In accordance with use permit application, site is <br /> approved for 10,200 square foot building for a neighborhood church for a maximum capacity <br /> 249 people. <br /> Existing structures, one well, septic system of single family home, tress, site topo are presented <br /> in(Appendix A)"Site Map". <br /> 2.0 BACKGROUND <br /> The site is agricultural land located in zoning AG-40, and is currently used for a field crops and a <br /> residence. The land is designated as San Joaquin County Assessor's Parcel number 058-070-23. <br /> Currently, there is a single family home west of property along lower Sacramento Road. <br /> Remaining approximately 17 acres located on east of proposed project are in agricultural land <br /> use for field crops. The proposed project would be located on north-west corner of property. Past <br /> use of this land is described in attached NLS report. <br /> 3.0 EXISTING AND PROPOSED SEPTIC TANK USAGES <br /> 3.1 DESCRIPTION OF EXISTING ON-SITE TANK USAGE <br /> Existing on-site 40 linear feet leach line and 6 cubic yard sump is located at 100 feet on south- <br /> west of proposed building. San Joaquin County record does not reveal when system was <br /> installed, however permit no. 82-305 indicates a repair was conducted on June 18, 1982. <br /> Currently,this system is served for a single family home. A copy of County Liquid Waste permit <br /> is in included Appendix B. <br /> 3.2 SITE SEPTIC PERMIT HISTORY <br /> San Joaquin County record reveals that a septic tank system was repaired on June 18, 1982. <br /> County record also show a well located approximately 2,5001f on west of N. Lower Sacramento <br /> Road was destructed on March 16, 2009. A copy of County Liquid Waste permit is in included <br /> Appendix B. <br /> 1 <br />
