They are AGSCO Farm Repair, Suprema Cheese, and <br /> Aartman Trucking. AGSCO Farm Repair will not be modified. <br /> Several modifications are proposed for the Suprema Cheese processing facility. The 5-acre facility is <br /> located on a portion of a 19-acre parcel that also includes a vacant pasture and a pond. In addition to <br /> the 19-acre site, the cheese facility discharges to an off-site half-acre pond on a 40-acre parcel directly <br /> across Airport Way. This facility is operating at full capacity, processing 35,000 gallons of milk to produce <br /> 30,000 pounds of cheese and 31.500 gallons of whey waste. The facility operates 24 hours a day, <br /> Monday through Saturday, with a total of 64 employees, 30 on the maximum shift. Fifteen of the existing <br /> parking spaces are located on adjacent residential lots owned by the De Groot family. No change is <br /> proposed for those parking areas. <br /> The applicant proposes to eliminate the existing on-site pond, remove 9,000 square feet of an existing <br /> cheese processing facility, and construct a new 15,000-square-foot addition for a net 6,000-squ2re-foot <br /> expansion of the facility. A cheese waste water treatment facility is proposed. In addition, the applicant <br /> proposes to add two 30.000-gallon milk storage tanks and relocate two 30,000-gallon milk storage tanks <br /> and one 20.000-gallon milk storage tank. A 500-square-foot storage building and a loading dock are also <br /> proposed. A 3.650-square-foot shop is to be converted to storage. An additional 61 parking spaces are <br /> proposed for a total of 87 automobile parking spaces. The proposed facility is expected to operate at full <br /> capacity, processing 120,000 gallons of milk per day and producing 100,000 pounds of cheese and <br /> 108,000 gallons of whey waste. The new operation will require 85 employees, with 35 on the heaviest <br /> shift. <br /> Also included in the request is a trucking company (Aartman Trucking Company), which is currently on <br /> the site without the benefit of permits. The trucking facility currently operates with 20 tanker trucks. Each <br /> truck picks up and delivers milk in a loop within the south County area and then returns to this yard. <br /> Approximately six of the trucks return loaded with milk for the processing facility.
