Larrouy, <br /> My husband and I are writing a letter in opposition <br /> of the tentative subdivision on Lower Sacramento Road <br /> Acampo, ( you say Galt) , Application number SU-93-2 , <br /> Tract No. 2607 . <br /> First, our household, which is on Stoney Creek Circle <br /> and would be impacted by this subdivision were never <br /> notified of this plan. WHY?? If our neighbors hadn' t <br /> informed us this subdivision could have slipped through <br /> without any opposition. Secondly, when was this agri- <br /> cultural land rezoned to residential? Again, there <br /> was never any notification of the planned zoning change. <br /> We feel something is not right about this whole process . <br /> Now, about the environmental impact with this proposed <br /> development, how do you think this area can handle 42 <br /> more wells, depleting the diminishing water table even <br /> faster. Also how does the developer think this area, <br /> which has bad drainage, can handle 42 more septic tanks <br /> and leach lines . We feel both of these concerns are <br /> major reasons to turn down this subdivision. <br /> Other concerns we have include, further overcrowding of <br /> Galt schools, fire protection, law inforcement, and <br /> further displacement of wildlife . We feel there needs <br /> to be alot more clarification on these points with all <br /> the residents in the Forest Lake Rd. and Stoney Creek <br /> Circle area. <br /> Your notice sent out May 5 , 1994 said to request, in <br /> writing, a copy of the Development Services Division <br /> environmental determination action.
