Lic. #662324
Greg Olivera
San Joaquin County
Envirnmental Health
Syockton, Ca 95201
Dear Greg, 2/1/96
As you are aware, the environmental health department imposed a condition of having
an existing water well abandoned prior to the recordation of the final map for the project
known as "Spiess Ranchos".
We are in the process of making final arrangements to have the map of phase one
recorded. Phase one consists of the westerly 23 parcels of land. The improvements are
partially completed. The road work will be done this spring and should be complete by the
end of May.
The irrigation well that is to be abandoned is being used as the source of water to fill
the water trucks. Water is essential in the road building process for both material
compaction and dust control purposes.
At this time, I wish to request that you provide a temporary extension of the well
abandonment requirement. This would allow me to utilize the well until the time that the
road work is completed.
I have entered into an agreement with Valley Drilling to abandon the well. I hereby
guarantee that the well will be abandoned no later than June 15th, 1996.
Thankyou for your understanding and cooperation in this matter.
Sincerely,
 a+
:aw C- Ryan Voorhees
`_ C
owner and developer of Spiess Ranchos
- u_
