TECHNICAL & OPERATIONAL INFORMATION
FOR
MODEL T.C.S. 350C/S CAR WASH WATER TREATMENT & RECLAIM SYSTEM
Technical Outline
The T.C.S. 350C/S is an above ground 350-gallon 4-stage centrifugal separator
clarifier. The four hexagonal cone bottom tanks and frame is a stainless steel factory
welded unit.
The T.C.S. 350C/S Control Panel is UL Listed for single-phase 220 volt 30 AMP
service or three phase 440 VOLT 20 AMP service.
T.C.S. systems come fully factory assembled and skid mounted for"plug n play"
installation. 3/8" lag bolts on each leg of tank system will secure the unit. 3/8" lag bolts
will secure the twin filtration canisters. All PVC schedule 80 piping and plumbing is
factory installed.
1) 1 HP self-priming suction pump with a trash strainer removes cleaning
water from the trench system. Trench level is controlled by a Warrick
sensor system that uses a 10-Ohm reference probe sensor for maintenance
free operation. A water pickup pipe with flow back valve allows the
suction pump to be mounted above ground on the frame of the unit and
insures that there is no electrical voltage in the pits.
2) 1 HP centrifugal pump spins water in Tank 4 and supplies flush water for
the trench system to move solid/trash to the stainless steel lift out pit
basket. This circulation action passes water through a Mazzei injector
adding ozone into the recycled water in the unit.
3) The second tank contains a poly pack for secondary separation of
hydrocarbons. An absorbent oil pad will collect the minimum amount of
oil from the pad. 1 HP centrifugal pump on Tank Two and a chemical
pump treat the water with poly aluminum hydroxide as it is pumped
through a spinner cone on Tank 3. The mixture is 1000/1, which causes
the fines to settle from the recycled water.
4) Ozone generator treats bacteria and oxidizes metal from cleaning
operation. Injection occurs in tank 4; all water sent to trench or filter bags
has been treated.
5) 1 HP centrifugal pump on tank 4 supplies pressure for Twin Bag Filter
canisters that deliver 10 micron recycled water to hose bibs for reuse. The
filter bags can be cleaned and reused many times. The recycled water is
perfect for use by a steam cleaner or hot pressure washer, over half of the
volume coming out to the cleaning surface will evaporate.
6) The cone bottom tanks are purged automatically by electric ball valves
every morning before the workday begins. The solids are drained into a
17H 55-gallon drum with a plastic filter medium that contains the solids
and allows the water to flow back into the trench. Collected solids will be
rated for proper disposal method.
7) Fresh Water from final vehicle rinse will makeup for evaporation and any
excess will flow to the sewer/septic system.
SPACE AGE SOLUTIONS
165 Santa Clara St. Brisbane, CA 94005 415-467-5100
