Permethrin (Perm-up 3.2, Permethrin 3.2) -is a -broad=spectrum -insecticide with a low <br /> toxicity to humans. It has a half-life of three to six weeks. Permethrin binds strongly to <br /> soil particles and is practically insoluble in water. <br /> Methidathion (Supracide) is an organophosphorous insecticide and acaricide. It is <br /> highly toxic to humans by ingestion or skin exposure. The compound has a field half-life <br /> of one to four weeks in soil. It is soluble in water, but little is known about its half-life in <br /> water. <br /> Fenbutatin-oxide (Vendex) is a miticide and acaricide. It has low acute toxicity but is <br /> considered a severe eye irritant. The compound is persistent in the environment, with a <br /> field half-life ranging from 271 to 1,367 days (EPA R.E.D. Facts). <br /> The Agricultural Commissioner's records are included in Appendix 5 of this report. <br /> 7.5 Dei3artment of Oil Gas and Geothermal Resources Maps <br /> The California Department of Oil, Gas, and Geothermal Resources (DOGGR) Online <br /> Mapping System (DOMS) was queried on February 27, 2011 for mapped oil or gas <br /> wells within one-quarter mile of the subject Site. No wells were identified-in the area. <br /> -7.6 National Pipeline Mapping System Database <br /> Live Oak reviewed the National Pipeline Mapping System (NPMS) database on <br /> February 27, 2011 for evidence of hazardous materials pipelines within one-quarter mile <br /> of the Site. No pipelines were identified within the search area: Other local pipelines <br /> which are not mapped by the NMPS may still be present in the area. <br /> 8.0 IDENTIFIED CONTAMINATION SOURCES <br /> The following sources of past, current, on-site, and-0-4- ite contamination have been <br /> identified as a result of this investigation - <br /> Identified Contamination Source Evaluation & Recommendations <br /> The Site was developed for <br /> agriculture in 1937 or earlier. Agricultural chemicals may remain in Site <br /> Portions of the Site were orchard soils. The only way to determine the <br /> 1 since 1952 or earlier. A portable presence or absence of these chemicals �J <br /> tank for agricultural chemicals or is by testing and analysis. Typically, any <br /> amendments was observed near such testing is conducted at the property <br /> -the -shop building.
