STEP 2 SUBMIT YOUR APPLICATION-When you apply, file all of the following: • FEE The staff will let you know the current cost of filing an application. Make checks payable to the San Joaquin County Treasurer. • FORM Ono completed copy of this application form. • APPLICATION Staff will check your application. (Your application cannot bo processed until!t!s COMPLETE complete.) STEP 3 APPLICATION PROCESSING • CEQA If the proposed Time Extension is for a discretionary project It Is subject to Environmental review. Projects that have the potential to adversely affect the environment will require the preparation of an EiR. • ACTION Time Extensions can only be granted by the review authority that approved the original permit. If the permit was approved by the Planning Commission or Board of Supervisors a public hearing will be scheduled. If the staff approved your application a hearing will not be necessary unless the staffs decision Is appealed. At the conclusion of the public hearing(or staff review period)your request will be approved or denied. Actions of the staff or Planning Commission can be appealed. The action of the Board Is final. • FINAL ACTION The staff will send you the results of the rnal action.
