Chandler Martin CEQA Determination: Negative Declaration <br /> Project Description <br /> This is a one-year Time Extension request for an approved Quarry to excavate sand from approximately 60 <br /> acres of a 162-acre parcel. Approximately 20 additional acres will be used for stockpile sites and <br /> operations, for a total site area of approximately 80 acres. Nineteen acres will be excavated to a depth of <br /> approximately 14 feet below the existing grade, and the remaining 41 acres will be excavated to a depth of <br /> 11 feet. The depth of excavation will remain above the groundwater level. The maximum quarry slopes will <br /> be 4:1. The site is to be reclaimed to agriculture (alfalfa) after the mineral resources have been extracted. <br /> Recommendation <br /> Approval.
