The
following items need to be addressed and resubmitted for review and approval:
1.) The septic system design for the proposed project is lacking within the study. Provide
septic design, per San Joaquin County Sewage Standards, and SA-97-58 project proposal
submitted November 12, 1997.
2.) The study does not address the high water table of 8-7', known to occur during the winter
months in this area. Provide additional information on this issue with regards to
installation of the septic system and impact on the ground water.
3.) N at 16.49 mg/1 exceeds drinking water standards of 10 mg/1, and is not acceptable.
Provide mitigating measures to reduce N below the state drinking water standards. A
raised mound system, with soils containing organic material maybe required to reduce the
N value.
If you have any questions, please contact Adrienne Ellsaesser, Sr. R.E.H.S., of my staff, at (209)
468-0343
Mike Huggins,Supervising R.E.H.S.,R.D.I.
Environmental Health Division
Cc: Albert Amaro,26553 Sacramento Blvd.,Thornton,CA 95686
Anderson& Assoc.Inc. 22 Houston Ln.
