GROUND WATER
The San Joaquin County Flood Control and Water Conservation District ground-water
depth and elevation maps indicate the ground water levels of most parts of the San Joaquin
County.' The Fall 1998 and Spring 1999 ground water maps are the most recent maps depicting
the ground water depth and elevation for San Joaquin County. The ground-water gradient and
—' ground-water flow direction near the site is between 2.9 and 4.1 feet/mile flowing northeast to
east for the period of Fall 1998 to Spring 1999. According to these maps, the depth to ground
water for this period was approximately 16 feet.
The following table summarizes all the available ground water information collected for
the site and nearby area.
Table 2.
Summary of Available Ground Water Information.
Date,Source Groundwater Depth Notes
January 31,2002,one(1)25-ft deep soil 15 feet. The depth to ground water was found to be at a death of 15
feet below the Around surface.
