q. LIGHTING: Liqhtinq shall be provided and comply with the following: (1) If the parking area is to be used at night, parking lot and security lighting shall be installed. (Development Title Section 9-1015.5[g]) (2) Any lighting shall be designed to confine direct rays to the premises. No spillover beyond the property lines shall be permitted except onto public thoroughfares, provided, however, that such light shall not cause a hazard to motorists. (Development Title Section 9-1015.5[g][4]) h. LANDSCAPING: Landscaping shall be provided and comply with the following: (1) A minimum ten (10) foot wide landscaped strip, respecting the ultimate right-of-way width of Palm Avenue and State Route 99 Hwy, shall be installed across the frontage of the project site. (2) All areas not used for buildings, parking, driveways, walkways, approved outdoor storage areas, or other permanent facilities shall be landscaped. (3) Areas of the property which are not part of the project shall be barricaded from traffic and kept mowed and dust free. (Development Title Section 9-1020.) (4) The parking area shall be landscaped as specified in Section 9-1020.6 of the Development Title. The parking area shall be provided with a minimum of five percent(5%) of landscaping within the perimeter of the parking area, not including landscaping along the street frontage. Two additional parking lot trees shall be planted for this project, evenly spaced throughout the parking lot. A five-foot planting strip is required in the parking lot along the property line(s). (Development Title Section 9-1020.6) i. SCREENING: All storage materials and related activities, including storage areas for trash, shall be enclosed by a screen six (6) to eight (8) feet in height. Items stored within one hundred (100) feet of a dedicated street or residential zone shall not be stacked higher than two (2) feet above the adjacent screen.
