q. LIGHTING: Liqhtinq shall be provided and comply with the following: <br /> (1) If the parking area is to be used at night, parking lot and security lighting shall be installed. <br /> (Development Title Section 9-1015.5[g]) <br /> (2) Any lighting shall be designed to confine direct rays to the premises. No spillover beyond the <br /> property lines shall be permitted except onto public thoroughfares, provided, however, that such <br /> light shall not cause a hazard to motorists. (Development Title Section 9-1015.5[g][4]) <br /> h. LANDSCAPING: Landscaping shall be provided and comply with the following: <br /> (1) A minimum ten (10) foot wide landscaped strip, respecting the ultimate right-of-way width of <br /> Palm Avenue and State Route 99 Hwy, shall be installed across the frontage of the project site. <br /> (2) All areas not used for buildings, parking, driveways, walkways, approved outdoor storage areas, <br /> or other permanent facilities shall be landscaped. <br /> (3) Areas of the property which are not part of the project shall be barricaded from traffic and kept <br /> mowed and dust free. (Development Title Section 9-1020.) <br /> (4) The parking area shall be landscaped as specified in Section 9-1020.6 of the Development Title. <br /> The parking area shall be provided with a minimum of five percent(5%) of landscaping within the <br /> perimeter of the parking area, not including landscaping along the street frontage. Two additional <br /> parking lot trees shall be planted for this project, evenly spaced throughout the parking lot. A <br /> five-foot planting strip is required in the parking lot along the property line(s). (Development Title <br /> Section 9-1020.6) <br /> i. SCREENING: All storage materials and related activities, including storage areas for trash, shall <br /> be enclosed by a screen six (6) to eight (8) feet in height. Items stored within one hundred (100) <br /> feet of a dedicated street or residential zone shall not be stacked higher than two (2) feet above <br /> the adjacent screen.
