Pearson Road, Lodi <br /> The Environmental Health Department has the following concerns on this pre-application that <br /> need to be addressed (state specifics). <br /> A. The Environmental Health Department requires a soil suitability/nitrate loading study <br /> indicating that the area is suitable for septic tank usage. This must be performed prior to <br /> acceptance of the application (San Joaquin County Development Title, Section 9-1105.2(d)). <br /> A nitrate loading study is required, and a review fee of$465.00 must be paid at time of <br /> submittal to the Environmental Health Department. <br /> The sewage disposal system shall comply with the on site sewage standards of San Joaquin <br /> County prior to approval. A percolation test that meets absorption rates of the manual of <br /> septic tank practice or E.P.A. Design Manual for onsite wastewater treatment and disposal <br /> system is required for each parcel. A permit fee of$93.00 per percolation hole is required. <br /> B. The existing private water wells shall be tested for the chemical Dibromochloropropane <br /> (DBCP) and nitrates prior to acceptance of application. Samples are to be taken and analyzed <br /> by a State-approved laboratory (San Joaquin County Development Title, Section 9-1115.7). <br /> C. Construction of individual sewage-disposal-system(s) under permit and inspection by the <br /> Environmental Health Department is required at the time of development based on the Soil <br /> Suitability Study/Nitrate Loading Study findings (San Joaquin County Development Title, <br /> Section 9-1110.3 & 9-1110.4). <br /> MH:tl <br />
