Uhrich,
have a standing water depth of approximately 120 feet . According to
the map of "Lines of Equal Depth to Water in Wells" published fall of
1994 by the San Joaquin County Flood Control and Water Conservation
District ( see appendix) the depth to groundwater is between 120 and 130
feet .
The parcels in question do not currently lay in a Flood Zone , however
the Federal Government is considering a review of the current flood
plain maps . It would be unfruitful to "guess" at their possible
outcome .
Water samples were obtained by Robert Kraetsch on 11 /20/95 and
transported to the FGL laboratory in Stockton to be analyzed for DBCP
(dibromochloropropane ) and Nitrates . The results of those test
revealed that DBCP was not detected ( see appendix for method and
detection limits ) and that Nitrate was detected at 12 mg/l ( the Maximum
Concentration Level for Nitrate is 45 . 0 mg/1 ) .
PERCOLATION TESTS
Percolation tests were performed on all four of the subject parcels ,
and the designated remainder , in accordance with San Joaquin County
"PERCOLATION TEST PROCEDURE" , ( see appendix ) . Approximately an 8"
diameter hole was excavated to a depth of between 36" and 42" , and
