SURFACE AND SUBSURFACE CONTAMINATION REPORT APN 007-37-14, being a portion of the southwest quarter of Section 14, TAN. R.7E., M.D.B. & M., San Joaquin County, California. Proposed subdividision as Parcels 1,2,3 & 4 and a remainder as shown on attached Tentative Map. Zoning is AL-5. The remainder is 20 Acres. HISTORY OF PARCEL: The parcel was a vineyard until grape vines and grape stakes cleared and row crops planted. Two wells exist on the parcel. Use Description: Agricultural FIELD INSPECTION: On May 18, 1999 a field review of the proposed parcels was made. Photographs of the existing conditions and present agricultural use are shown. There was no evidence found to indicate point or non-point contamination. There are approximately 25 debris piles between Peltier Road and Gill Creek. The remains of the fire are still present. A concrete basement room is approximately '/2 full of water and debris. The debris piles may be burned in place by permit. The metallic and plastic items must be disposed of at the proper land fill. The existing septic system is to be abandoned by permit. RECORDSSEARCH The Environmental Health Division records were checked on May 25, 1999 for contaminated sites in close proximity to the site. A dairy site at 12997 E. Peltier Road was listed. The Agricultural Commissioner's Office was unable to locate files for the names listed.
