GX-88-1 page 3 <br /> CONDITIONS OF APPROVAL <br /> 1 . Planning Division <br /> a. The required financial guarantee shall be submitted to <br /> the Planning Division prior to the commencement of exca- <br /> vation. The guarantee must remain in effect until re- <br /> leased by written authorization from the Planning Division. <br /> b. The reports required for the certifications of compliance <br /> must be submitted to the Planning Division within thirty <br /> (30) days after excavation has been completed on each <br /> excavation phase, and shall include a similar certification <br /> of the previous phase ' s reclamation. For the last phases <br /> reclamation, a separate certificate of compliance shall <br /> be submitted within 30 days of its completion. Specifically, <br /> the required reports shall be submitted in the following <br /> manner: <br /> First Report: Detailing the status of Phase 1 "North" <br /> excavation. <br /> Second Report: Detailing the status of Phase 1 "South" <br /> excavation, and Phase 1 "North" rehabilita- <br /> tion. <br /> Third Report: Detailing the status of Phase 2 excavation, <br /> and Phase 1 "South" rehabilitation. <br /> Fourth Report: Detailing the status of Phase 3 excavation, <br /> and Phase 2 rehabilitation. <br /> Fifth Report: Detailing the status of Phase 3 rehabilita- <br /> tion. <br /> C. Any soil that is to remain stock piled on-site for longer <br /> than one-year shall be vegetated with some type of peren- <br /> nial grass such as rye or red clover by October 15 . <br /> d. As part of the rehabilitation of each phase, the land <br /> shall be planted with agricultural crops, or some type <br /> of perennial grass such as rye or red clover. The details <br /> for the revegetation shall be included in the rehabilitation <br /> report required in #l .b. (above) . <br /> e. Condition on Archaeological Resources. Archaeological <br /> sites 76-33-1 , and 76-33-2 shall be protected from any <br /> disturbance during excavation and rehabilitation activities. <br /> In order to keep equipment from damaging these potentially <br /> valuable sites, temporary fencing shall be constructed <br /> around the sites at least 50 ' from the known outer edge <br /> of each of the 2 sites in any area that is potentially <br /> accessible by motorized equipment. The fencing shall <br /> remain in place until the rehabilitation of that area <br /> has been completed. If any excavation is planned within <br /> this minimum 50 ' buffer, a qualified archeologist shall <br /> be called in to excavate the site. Such excavation to <br /> be done under the supervision of the Planning Division <br /> and the District Clearinghouse, Stanislaus State University. <br /> KS : d <br />
