HAZELTON
STOCKTON, CA. 95105
Dear Sir:
In reference to application # GX-88-1
issued to 11,'. HOBSON & W. VGFFATT
PO BOX 814
BRENTWOOD, CA.
I have no objection to the hauling of dirt from
this project.
I own 160 Acres PARCEL # 021-060-02-5
which is planted in Grapes. If you notice on the
map, part of my Vineyard fronts on the old
PELTIER ROAD. This part of the road is used by the
Tructs & Trailers to get to their dirt site.
For many years this part of the road has not been
taken care of by the COUNTY, in fact it is now used
as a Public Dump. During the hot Summer months as
the Trucks & Trailers go back and forth on this
road hauling dirt, the dirt on the road flies all
over, and on to the Vineyard. Dirt on the leaves of
the Vines starts the virus RED SPIDER which in turn
stops the Vines from maturing and this causes much
damage.
The simple solution is to keep this part
of the Road well oiled and especially the
shoulders of the road. I cannot understand why
the COUNITY has not taken care of thins road since
it still belongs to them. Last year they tried
watering the road down , but this is no solution.
by the Owners.
Yours Truly,
Louis De Luca
