9-1025.9 Part II) <br /> m) BUILDING CODE REQUIREMENTS: The following California Building Code and San <br /> Joaquin County Ordinance requirements will be applicable and shall be incorporated in the <br /> construction plans before submittal to the Building Inspection Division: <br /> 1) The proposed occupancy will be B/MS-2. <br /> 2) Provide parking for the physically disabled. The space(s) shall be located as close as <br /> possible to the primary entrance. (C.C.R., Title 24). <br /> 3) Provide identification signs for the parking space(s) including the "tow away' sign at <br /> each entrance or visible from each space (C.C.R., Title 24). <br /> 4) The slope of a parking space shall not exceed Y< inch per foot (C.C.R., Title 24). <br /> 5) Provide one van parking space. <br /> 6) Provide restrooms conforming with all disabled access requirements (C.C.R., Title 24) <br /> Uniform Plumbing Code, Table 4-1. <br /> 7) Engineered plans required for new structures, accessible restrooms and parking. <br /> 8) A soils report will be required. <br /> 9) All recommendations of the Subdivision Soils Report shall be incorporated into the <br /> construction drawings. <br /> n) CALIFORNIA FIRE CODE The following California Fire Code and San Joaquin County <br /> Ordinance Code requirements will be applicable and shall be incorporated in the <br /> construction plans before submittal to the Community Development Department for a <br /> building permit. <br /> (1) Fire flow and hydrants will be provided for the proposed project by the use of NFPA <br /> 1142 of the National Fire Code <br /> (2) Fire department access roads shall be in accordance with Section 503.2 of the <br /> California Fire Code and the standard adopted by the San Joaquin County Fire Chiefs <br /> Association. <br /> (3) Key Boxes: A Knox box shall be installed according to the local fire department's <br /> instructions. <br /> (4) Fire extinguishers shall be installed in accordance with California Fire Code, section <br /> 906. <br /> (5) Fire permits may be required prior to occupancy to conduct operations hazardous to life <br /> or property.
