On a street map showing
the location of the subject property, a circle is drawn one-quarter mile out from the property
boundaries, and street maps or web-based mapping services are then used to determine
address ranges for all streets within the quarter mile. All agency databases searchable by
address are then searched for these address ranges.
/3.1.1 Regional Water Ouality Control Board
NOA reviewed the Leaking Underground Storage Tanks (LUST) list (October 2008), the Water
Purveyors Quarterly Report on MTBE(October 2008), and the Spills, Leaks, Investigations, and
Cleanups (SLIC) list (1't Quarter 2005) on file with the Central Valley Regional Water Quality
Control Board (CVRWQCB)4 in an attempt to determine if there are any files present at that
agency which note the unauthorized release of a toxic or hazardous agent into the environment
on the subject property or within a one-quarter mile radius of the subject property. The subject
property was not listed on any of these databases, and only one address within one-quarter
mile of the subject property was found on the databases.
;/3.1.2 San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department
According to Diane Martinez5 of the EHD, no files were available for the subject property
addresses of 5111, 5601, 6301, 6324 West Peltier Road 22114 and 23249 North Thornton Road
and 22750 North Ray Road.
The Underground Storage Tank Site Mitigation List, dated April 3, 2006 and the LOP/Non-LOP
Sites list, not dated, were reviewed at the EHD on December 16, 2008. One listed site located
at 7001 Rond Road was found within one-quarter mile of the subject project. This site is
located across Interstate 5 from Parcel -21 of the subject property.
The file was reviewed at the EHD on December 17, 2008. According to records on file, a 1,000-
gallon underground gasoline tank and a 500-gallon underground diesel tank were removed
"California Regional Water Quality Control Board, Sacramento, www.swrcb.ca.gov.
s Personal Communication, December 18, 2008
902 Industrial Way• Lodi,CA 95240•209.367.3701 -Fax 209.369.4228 E2009 Neil 0.Anderson&Assoc!ales.hie.
