ADDITIONAL INFORMATION REQUIREMENTS 2 <br /> MOKELUMNE RIM VINEYARDS <br /> ACAMPO,SAN JOAQUIN COUNTY <br /> 11) Allowing for two feet of freeboard, what is the approximate storage capacity of the <br /> wastewater pond? Provide a water balance which evaluates the containment structures <br /> ability to provide sufficient capacity on a month by month basis. Include monthly <br /> evaporation, precipitation, and irrigation rates as well as monthly discharge volumes. <br /> Rainfall shall be based on the 100-year return period total annual precipitation. <br /> 12) Describe management provisions that will be implemented to prevent the occurrence of <br /> flies, mosquitoes, and odor nuisances and problems such as pond overflows (maintenance <br /> plans, standby pumps or generators, and contingency plans, etc.). <br /> 131) Describe the storage and disposal of all solid wastes generated in the winemaking <br /> process. Include a description of operation and maintenance procedures that prevent odor <br /> complaints, fly breeding, or other nuisance condition. <br /> 14) If land disposal of wastewater is contemplated, present loading rates for BOD (in <br /> lbs/acre/day), total nitrogen (in lbs/acre/year), and salts (in lbs/acre/year). Provide a <br /> description of the disposal area and the disposal technique. State the number of acres of <br /> land used for disposal and crops planned for application areas (show locations of land on <br /> map). Describe harvesting and crop disposal procedures. Describe the mixing ratio of <br /> wastewater and supplemental irrigation water prior to application, and describe the <br /> tailwater control and return system. <br /> 15) Provide information sufficient to determine whether this discharge of wastewater will <br /> adversely impact underlying groundwater. <br /> 16) Before the Board can adopt WDRs for this discharge, the requirements of the California <br /> Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) must be complied with. Will the County adopt a <br /> CEQA document for this facility? If yes, give an anticipated date of adoption. If no, the <br /> Discharger will be responsible for hiring a consultant to complete all the CEQA <br /> documents. If this is the case, the name of the consultant and the anticipated schedule for <br /> document completion shall be submitted. <br />
