Box 611 Acampo, CA 95220 Lodi, CA 95241 PROJECT DESCRIPTION: A Site Approval application to expand an existing seed research facility in two phases over ten years. Phase 1 includes the construction of one 6,720 square foot green house building and one 3,360 square foot greenhouse building. Phase 2 includes the construction of four green houses, each consisting of 3,360 square feet, an 8,062 square foot work room, a 1,020 square foot maintenance shop addition, a 1,200 square foot maintenance shop addition and a 400 square foot irrigation building. Phase 2 also includes a sign modification request to modify the maximum permitted height requirement for a monument sign from six feet to ten feet and modify the maximum permitted sign area from 60 square feet to 80 square feet. This parcel is under a Williamson Act contract. The property is zoned AG-40(General Agriculture, 40-acre minimum)and the General Plan designation is A/G (General Agriculture)and OS/RC (Resource Conservation). PROJECT LOCATION: The project site is located on the north side of Peltier Road, 1,300 feet west of Dustin Road, Acampo. (APN/Address: 005-260-41; 7087 E. Peltier Road, Acampo) (Supervisorial District4) ENVIRONMENTAL DETERMINATION: A Negative Declaration is being proposed for adoption. Copies of the Initial Study and proposed Negative Declaration are available at the Community Development Department. APPLICATION REVIEW: If you have any recommendations or comments on this project, please submit them to the Community Development Department no later than September 11, 2012. Comments or recommendations received after that date would not be used in staffs analysis and recommendation for this application. If you would like to receive notice of the staff determination for this project, please notify the Community Development Department in writing.
