Box 611 Acampo, CA 95220 Lodi, CA 95241 REVISED PROJECT DESCRIPTION: A Site Approval application to expand an existing seed and research facility in two phases over ten years. Phase 1, with building permits to issued within 18 months, to include additions to two existing green house buildings totaling 1,980 square feet. Phase 2, with building permits to be issued within 10 years, includes the construction of four green houses, each consisting of 3,360 square feet, an 8,062 square foot work room, a 1,020 square foot maintenance shop addition, a 1,200 square foot maintenance shop addition and a 400 square foot irrigation building. Phase 2 also includes a sign modification request to modify the maximum permitted height requirement for a monument sign from six feet to ten feet and modify the maximum permitted sign area from 60 square feet to 80 square feet. This parcel is under a Williamson Act contract. The property is zoned AG-40 (General Agriculture, 40-acre minimum) and the General Plan designation is A/G (General Agriculture)and OS/RC(Resource Conservation). PROJECT LOCATION: The project site is located on the north side of Peltier Road, 1,300 feet west of Dustin Road, Acampo. (APN/Address: 005-260-41; 7087 E. Peltier Road, Acampo) (Supervisorial District 4) ENVIRONMENTAL DETERMINATION: A Negative Declaration is being proposed for adoption.
