This project includes a Permit application to allow the existing winery to be <br /> expanded within the next five years. The project is located east of SR99 on the north side of Peltier Rd., <br /> within the unincorporated lands of San Joaquin County, APN 005-260-42. <br /> The land uses proposed with the expansion are compatible with the 2009 ALUCP Zones for Lodi <br /> Airport. The following are standards and project design conditions specific to compliance with the. <br /> ALUCP and should be carried through as conditions of approval on the Site Plan: This is not a <br /> mitigation request. These are project design conditions that are required as part of compliance with the <br /> 2009 ALUCP: <br /> 1. New land uses that may cause visual, electronic, or increased bird strike hazards to aircraft in <br /> flight shall not be permitted within any airport's influence area. Specific characteristics to be <br /> avoided include: <br /> - Glare or distracting lights which could be mistaken for airport lights. Reflective <br /> materials are not permitted to be used in structures or signs (excluding traffic directing <br /> signs); <br /> - Sources of dust, steam, or smoke which may impair pilot visibility; <br />
