Peltier Rd. <br /> Acampo , CA <br /> 1 ) INTRODUCTION <br /> This soil suitability study has been performed in accordance with <br /> the requirements of Section 9-1110 . 2( d) of the San Joaquin County <br /> Development Title , using methodologies and procedures accepted and <br /> approved by San Joaquin County Environmental Health Division. The <br /> results of this study will be used to determine the suitability of <br /> these parcels for on-site sewage disposal systems . The <br /> determination of suitability will be based on percolation rates , <br /> depth to ground water , flood zones , soil type , soil structure <br /> and characteristics . <br /> 2 ) PROPOSED DEVELOPMENT <br /> The Hammond property currently consists of two 10-acre parcels , APN <br /> #s 017-190-05 and 017-190-06 , which will be spit into four 5-acre <br /> �. parcels . The existing home will be located on parcel four ( see <br /> tentative parcel map in Appendix ) . There are no changes in the land <br /> use proposed at this time . <br /> 3 ) PRESENT AND PAST LAND USE OF THIS SITE <br /> The two 10-acre parcels are vineyards , with the exception of the <br /> current home and shop. This property has been vineyards for at least <br /> the last eighty years . Where the house and shop are , there was once <br /> a horse corral and stables . <br /> 4 ) EXISTING AND PROPOSED SEPTIC TANK USAGE <br /> The existing septic system consists of three , forty foot lines with <br /> a 10 ' x 10 ' x 2 ' sump at the end of each line . This system was <br /> installed in 1980 and has preformed well with no problems , according <br /> to Mr . Hammond. The original permit is on file and was installed as <br /> per County regulations . There is currently no proposed construction <br /> or changes to the existing system. <br /> The past installation of septic systems have performed well in this area . <br /> A review of Environmental Health records show many new systems installed <br /> but no repairs to existing systems , over the past twenty years ( the last <br /> repair in this area was in 1972 ) .
