If the homesite area is lower than adjacent irrigated
property, a permanent berm or ditch will need to be
constructed around the homesite parcel to prevent accidental
flooding from irrigation water. Property owner shall either
verify field elevations or submit a written statement to
District indicating that property in question is not subject
to flooding from adjacent irrigated property.
2 . If access along or across the District' s easement will be the
sole means of access to the property, the applicant will, as
a condition of approval, need to apply for an Encroachment
Agreement with the District . Encroachment Agreements are
approved or denied based on a review of the application. Upon
review of the materials supplied relative to the proposed lot
line adjustment, there does appear to be a concern for the
District in regards to the 25 ' wide ingress and egress . Our
recommendation at this point is that an alternative access
1
11011 East Highway 120, Manteca, CA 95336-9750 • Phone 209/823-3101 • F AX 209/623-8406
