Other requirements may also apply. These requirements cannot be <br /> modified. <br /> XThe Environmental Health Department requires a soil suitability study indicating that the <br /> area is suitable for septic tank usage. This must be performed prior to recordation of Parcel <br /> Map or Certificate of Compliance (San Joaquin County Development Title, Section 9- <br /> 1105.2(d)). A review fee of$186.00 must be paid at time of submittal to the Environmental <br /> o� Health Department. <br /> The sewage disposal system shall comply with the on site sewage standards of San Joaquin <br /> County prior to approval. A percolation test that meets absorption rates of the manual of <br /> septic tank practice or E.P.A. Design Manual for onsite wastewater treatment and disposal <br /> system is required for each parcel. A permit fee of$93.00 per percolation hole is required. <br /> The existing private water wells shall be tested for the chemical Dibromochloropropane <br /> .c 97 (DBCP) and nitrates prior to recordation of the Parcel Map or Certificate of Compliance. <br /> Samples are to be taken and analyzed by a State-approved laboratory (San Joaquin County <br /> Development Title, Section 9-1115.7). <br /> Prior to recordation of the Parcel Map or Certificate of Compliance, the well must be <br /> repaired under permit and inspection by the Environmental Health Department (San Joaquin <br /> County Development Title, Section 9-1115.4(e)) as follows: <br /> Q�/f �el gko <br /> I Agricultural discharge pipes utilizing an air gap for back-flow prevention shall maintain an <br /> air gap equal to the size of the discharge pipe, but not less than 6 inches. The discharge pipe <br /> shall also have two '/4 inch slits extending 6 inches from the bottom of the pipe and opposite <br /> each other or a back-flow device approved by San Joaquin County must be installed. <br /> Construction of individual sewage-disposal-system(s) under permit and inspection by the <br /> Environmental Health Department is required at the time of development based on the Soil <br /> Suitability findings (San Joaquin County Development Title, Section 9-1110.3 & 9-1110.4). <br /> Construction of individual domestic water well under permit and inspection by the <br /> Environmental Health Department is required at the time of development (San Joaquin <br /> County Development Title, Section 9-1115.3). e <br /> MH:cf <br /> PQ� <br />
