The holes were excavated to a depth of 42 inches and 8 inches in diameter. Depth and Dimensions of Hole, Preparation of Hole, and Depth of Water Used to Presoak (Minimum 12 Inches): The shallow test holes were excavated to a depth of 42 inches and 8 inches in diameter and backfilled with 2 inches of"pea gravel" in accordance with County Standards. The shallow holes were prepared by Mike Toy of Dillon & Murphy on January 23, 2006 at 6:00 a.m. On January 23, 2006 at 7:30 a.m. the 24 hour presoak period was stud. The holes were filled with 12 inches of water over the gravel and at t —s time. Environmental Health Department acknowledged the test was going to performed and inspected on January 24, 2006. /'�'/44 Description of the Date, Time and Condition of the Test Hole After the 24-Hour Soak Period (Hole Still Intact, Hole Dry, Depth to Water Remaining in Hole, Etc.): On January 24, 2006 the two shallow test holes were dry. Six inches of water was added to the holes and the holes were deemed suitable to continue. The two shallow tests passed the minimum County requirements.
