1.0 INTRODUCTION AND PROPOSED DEVELOPMENT: <br /> 1.1 Description of Site: The project consists of a 120.95 acre parcel located at <br /> ` 7434 N. Podesta Lane, Linden, CA. The subject parcel number is 091-350-04. <br /> The project is in an agricultural community, and the existing parcel is zoned <br /> AG-40 (General Agriculture). <br /> 1.2 Description of proposed development: It is proposed to split the 120.95 acre parcel into <br /> two parcels; 60 acre parcel, and a 60.95 acre parcel. In accordance with the San Joaquin County <br /> Development Title, this Surface and Subsurface Contamination Report (SSCR) is being <br /> submitted for approval. This report will investigate the property for visual or historical <br /> environmental contamination based on field observation, interviews with the owner, and county <br /> records. (this SSCR includes no chemical analysis) <br /> 1.3 Parcel Location Map: (See Appendix for Tentative map with Vicinity Map, and APN <br /> Page). <br /> 1.4 Site Map: (See Appendix for Tentative Map). -i� <br /> 2.0 PAST, PRESENT, AND PROPOSED FUTURE USES OF THIS SITE: <br /> 2.1 Discussion of Past, Present, and Proposed Future Uses: The primary source of <br /> information of the historic use of this property is testimony of the owner, Brett Lagorio. <br /> The owner was interviewed on May 13, 2005. Brett Lagorio has recently purchased the subject <br /> parcel. The land use has not changed under his ownership. The prior owners were unable to be <br /> contacted for further information. Mr. Lagorio has lived in the area for more than 10± years. He <br /> has observed how the subject parcel has been used over that span and he indicated its use has <br /> been consistent for more than 5 years. <br /> Presently the property includes a walnut orchard and agricultural land for seasonal row crops. <br /> The surrounding properties (north, south, east, and west) are used for agricultural purposes. <br /> At this time there are no immediate plans for development. The owner plans to continue farming <br /> the property. <br /> 3.0 IDENTIFICATION OF ALL PAST AND CURRENT SOURCES OF <br /> CONTAMINATION: <br /> 3.1 Methods Used to Research: Methods used to research this parcel were records researched <br /> at the San Joaquin County Agriculture Commissioners office on April 20, 2005 (see appendix for <br /> results). An onsite survey performed on April 12, 2005 by Mike Toy of Dillon&Murphy. The .•I' <br /> owner was interviewed on May 13, 2005, by Joe Murphy of Dillon &Murphy.
