(3) Fire extinguishers shall be serviced annually and spaced so that travel distance is not greater <br /> than 75 feet(2A1 OBC minimum). <br /> 2. DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS (Staff Contact: Gabriel Karam, 468-3000) <br /> a. An encroachment permit shall be required for work within the road right-of-way. (Development <br /> Title Sections 9-1145.4 and 9-1145.5) <br /> b. The driveway approach, unless already paved, shall be improved in accordance with the <br /> requirements of San Joaquin County Standard R-17 prior to issuance of the occupancy permit. <br /> (Development Title Section 9-1145.5) <br /> c. The Traffic Impact Mitigation Fee may be required for this development. The fee is due and <br /> payable at the time of Final Site Plan approval. The fee currently is $167.69 per additional daily <br /> trip-end generated in the Stockton area. The fee shall be automatically July 1 of each year by the <br /> Engineering Construction Cost Index as published by the Engineering News Record. (Resolution <br /> R-96-592) <br /> d. A copy of the Final Site Plan shall be submitted prior to the release of building permits. <br /> e. Verification shall be obtained from the Solid Waste Division (468-3066) that this development has <br /> addressed the items on the attached Waste Plan Format for Development Projects. The Final <br /> Site Plan is required upon submittal of verification. <br /> 3. PUBLIC HEALTH SERVICES (Staff Contact: Ted Norgard, 468-3443) <br /> a. This facility has experienced many septic system failures over the years. The Environmental <br /> Health Division is requiring the applicant to obtain the services of a Registered Civil Engineer to <br /> design an adequate septic disposal system for the entire facility. Prior to the issuance of building <br /> permits, a nitrate loading study by a qualified Registered Civil Engineer is required which <br /> indicates that adequate area is available for this facility based on the proposed occupancy and <br /> use. A review fee of $390.00 shall be paid at the time of submittal to the,Environmental Health <br /> Division. <br /> b. The sewage disposal system shall comply with the on-site sewage standards of San Joaquin County <br /> prior to approval. A percolation test that meets absorption rates of the manual of septic tank practice <br /> of the EPA Design Manual for on-site wastewater treatment and disposal systems is required. A <br /> permit fee of$78.00 per percolation hole is required. <br /> c.
