SU-91-12 . <br /> SuFactm,T•,iQ=Camay <br /> MELMeLAUGHLN The District has the following comments and <br /> recommendations: <br /> 1. The San Joaquin Valley's air quality relative to <br /> National and State Ambient Air Quality Standards has been <br /> designated as a non-attainment area by the California Air <br /> Resources Board as follows: <br /> PM-10 - Non-attainment <br /> CO - Non-attainment (for Stockton Metropolitan <br /> Statistical Area Only) <br /> Ozone - Non-attainment <br /> The California Clean Air Act, AB 2595, requires counties <br /> which are designated non-attainment to achieve a 5% <br /> annual reduction in emissions until the standards are <br /> met. <br /> 2. The applicant should be aware of the PM-10 Rule and <br /> the Indirect Source Review Rule, both of which are <br /> currently proposed by the District for adoption in the <br /> near future. Both of these rules may affect the <br /> applicant's project. A copy of these rules is available <br /> upon written request to the District. <br /> 3 . Emissions generated during the construction process <br /> are of concern to the District.
