Other requirements may also apply. These requirements cannot be <br /> modified. <br /> A. The Environmental Health Department requires a Soil Suitability/Nitrate Loading Study <br /> indicating that the area is suitable for septic tank usage. This must be performed prior to <br /> recordation of the Parcel/Final Map (San Joaquin County Development Title, Section 9- <br /> 1105.2(d)). A nitrate loading study is required, and a review fee of$465.00 must be paid at <br /> time of submittal to the Environmental Health Department. <br /> The sewage disposal system shall comply with the on site sewage standards of San Joaquin <br /> County prior to approval. A percolation test that meets absorption rates of the manual of <br /> septic tank practice or E.P.A. Design Manual for onsite wastewater treatment and disposal <br /> system is required for each parcel. A permit fee of$93.00 per percolation hole is required. <br /> B. The existing private water wells shall be tested for the chemical Dibromochloropropane <br /> (DBCP) and nitrates prior to recordation of the Parcel/Final Map. Samples are to be taken <br /> and analyzed by a State-approved laboratory (San Joaquin County Development Title, <br /> Section 9-1115.7). <br /> C. Connection to an approved public water supply system is required (San Joaquin County <br /> Development Title, Section 9-1120.2) <br /> A letter from the water supplier will be required stating that they have the capacity to serve <br /> the development and that the system meets State standards prior to recording the final map <br /> (San Joaquin County Development Title, Section 9-1100.3). <br /> D. Construction of individual-sewage disposal system(s) under permit and inspection by the <br /> Environmental Health Department is required at the time of development based on the Soil <br /> Suitability/Nitrate Loading Study findings (San Joaquin County Development Title, Section <br /> 9-1110.3 & 9-1110.4). Estate type zoning (R-R1) shall require a double- leach-field-system, <br /> with an alternating distribution box to be installed at time of construction. <br /> E. A sewage disposal area is indicated by the septic tank soil suitability study and/or percolation <br /> tests must be shown for each parcel on the final subdivisions improvement plans (San <br /> Joaquin County Development Title, Section 9-1105.2). <br /> Page 1 of 2 ,+o BE1ru MH.cf <br />
