Piping should be stubbed to the <br /> rea so that connections will be facilitated. The scientific literature refers to the <br /> ehabilitation"of clay soils that have become clogged with biomat. When failure does <br /> e reserve area is activated, this will allow part of the primary disposal area to rest and <br /> rehabilitate. <br /> Another source of nitrate loading can be from lawns/landscaping/gardens, which is estimated to be <br /> 24% and could be significantly higher. It is recommended to use "slow release"nitrogen fertilizers <br /> on the lawns and landscaping to reduce nitrate loading from these areas. If nitrogen fertilizers are <br /> used, they should be applied under the package guidelines. <br /> In unsewered areas and/or areas that have been, or currently are under agricultural production, it is <br /> highly recommended that bottled water be used for drinking and cooking purposes. <br /> V. LIMITATIONS <br /> The findings, calculations, opinions and conclusions of this report are based upon information from <br /> standard engineering and analytical test procedures, contemporary scientific literature and agency <br /> consultations.
