Other requirements may also apply. These <br /> requirements cannot be modified. <br /> A. Environmental Health Division requires a soil suitability study/nitrate loading study <br /> indicating that the area is suitable for septic tank usage, including proposed staff and <br /> customer use. This must be performed prior to issuance of building permits as <br /> required by Section 9-1105.2(d) of the San Joaquin County Development Title. A <br /> nitrate loading study is required and a review fee of$435.00 must be paid at time of <br /> submittal to Environmental Health Division. <br /> The sewage disposal system shall comply with the on site sewage standards of San <br /> Joaquin County prior to approval. A percolation test that meets absorption rates of <br /> the manual of septic tank practice or E.P.A. Design Manual for onsite wastewater <br /> treatment and disposal system is required for each parcel. A permit fee of$87.00 per <br /> percolation hole is required. <br /> B. The existing well shall be tested for dibromochloropropane (DBCP) and nitrates prior <br /> to issuance of building permits. Samples are to be taken and analyzed by a State- <br /> approved laboratory. Should the sample results be above the State Standards, <br /> Environmental Health Division may require a new water source for this project (San <br /> Joaquin County Development Title, Section 9-1115.7). <br /> Page I of 2 <br /> A Division of San Joaquin County Health Care Services RM <br />
