New water lines shall not be installed in the same trench and shall be at least ten feet <br /> horizontally from and one foot vertically above any parallel pip conveying: septage, <br /> sewage, or storm water pipe line conveyance. <br /> 5. If crossing a pipeline conveyance of septage, sewage, or storm water, the new water line <br /> shall be constructed no less than 45 degreess to and at least one foot above that pipeline. <br /> No connection joints shall be made in the water line within eight horizontal feet of the fluid <br /> pipeline. <br /> 6. The new water lines shall be disinfected and then tested by a California certified laboratory <br /> for chlorine residuals and Total coliforms bacteria. Laboratory results that report the new <br /> line to be absent for coliform bacterial and non-detect for chlorine shall be submitted to <br /> EHD prior to making a connection to the Public Water System. <br />
