This addendum was prepared in response to a telephone call and fax from <br /> i Mr. Rodney Estrada of the San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department. The fax was <br /> dated July 20, 2005 and refers to our Soil Suitability and Nitrate Loading Report dated June 27, <br /> 2005. Mr. Estrada has indicated that EHD Staff has three areas of concern which he would Like <br /> addressed by our office. <br /> We understand that the project is a General Plan Map Amendment application. According to the <br /> application description you sent, the project will.be General Plan Map Amendment to change a 9.9 <br /> acre portion of two parcels that total 43.48 acres from A/G (General Agriculture) to I/T (Industrial <br /> Truck Terminal), and a Zone Reclassification application to change 9.9 acres from AG-40 (General <br /> Agriculture, 40 acre minimum) to I-T (Industrial Truck Terminal). <br /> We understand that with a General Plan Map Amendment, the San Joaquin County Environmental <br /> Health Department (EHD) will review the Soil Suitability and Nitrate Loading Study prepared for <br /> the project and make comments regarding the potential impact of septic system waste water applied <br /> in leach fields. EHD's comments will be sent to the San Joaquin County Community Development <br /> Department. <br /> Essentially, the following are the three issues EHD would like discussed: <br /> 1) EHD staff would like the nitrate loading study to be prepared for the 9.9 acre <br /> portion,not the entire parcel.
