Public contact with wastewater in the disposal area shalll be nrPr1 ,ped �r c-ontrnnPd <br /> such means as fences and signs,or acceptable alternatives. <br /> 4. No waste constituent shall be released or discharged,or placed where it will be released or <br /> discharged,in a concentration or in a mass that causes violation of the Groundwater <br /> Limitations. <br /> C 1 <br /> �. Oojectionanie odor originating from the treatment and disposal system shall not be <br /> perceivable beyond the limits of the treatment and disposal system's area. <br /> 6- A-11 treatment, storage, and di-mo-sal ;rn_.aR -shall be rleci—M cnngtnictedopeanted, and <br /> maintained to prevent inundation or washout due to floods with a 100-year return frequency. <br /> 7. Application of wastewater shall be confined to the seepage pits and gravelless leachfield <br /> area defined in this Order. <br /> 8. The Discharger shall operate all systems and equipment to maximize treatment of <br /> waste-water and optimize the quality of the discharge. <br /> .y <br /> 9. The Discharger shall' remove vegetation in the seepage pit and gravelless leachfield area as <br /> _-needed to prevent threat•nf runt intrusion into the system. <br /> 10. . The wastewater treatment system shall have sufficient treatment, storage, and disposal <br /> capacity to accommodate allowable-wastewater flow,inflow and infiltration, and design <br /> seasonal precipitation during the winter months_ Design seasonal precipitation shall be <br /> based on total annual precipitation using a return period of 100 years, distributed monthly in <br /> accordance with historical rainfall patterns. <br /> 11. Installation of new seepage pits and leach lines shall be performed in accordance with the <br /> requirements of this Order and the San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department <br /> Sewage Standards. <br /> C. Effluent Limitations <br /> 1. Effluent discharged to the seepage pits shall not have a pH less than 6.5 or greater than 8.5. <br /> Shock treatments of the seepage pits with chemicals to reduce biological plugging shall be <br /> described and approved prior to use. <br /> 2. Wastewater discharged to the seepage pits or gravelless leachfield shall not exceed the <br /> follow-aig limits: <br /> Constituent Units Monthly Average Baily Maximum <br /> TDS mg/1- 400 600 <br /> ,I <br />
