Approve Use Permit No. UP-92-7 with the Findings and Conditions of Approval given in the <br /> staff report. <br /> FINDINGS <br /> 1. The establishment, maintenance, and operation of the use does not conflict with the General Plan. <br /> • Staff can make this Finding because the proposed recreational vehicle storage facility <br /> is consistent with the Highway Service General Plan designation for the site. <br /> 2. Adequate utilities, access roads, sanitation, drainage, and other necessary facilities have been <br /> provided, and the proposed improvements are properly related to the existing and proposed <br /> streets and highways. <br /> ' Staff can make this Finding because the proposed project has frontage on a County <br /> road, and the site plan shows that an adequate area exists for septic tank leach lines. <br /> 3. The property involved is of adequate size and shape to accommodate the proposed use and all <br /> yards, building coverage, setbacks, parking areas, and other requirements of the Planning Title. <br /> • Staff can make this Finding because the site plan, along with the recommended <br /> Conditions of Approval, will ensure that all code requirements and other standards <br /> will be met. <br /> 4. Issuance of the permit will not be significantly detrimental to the public health, safety, or welfare <br /> or be injurious to the property or improvements of adjacent properties. <br /> • Staff can make this Finding because the Initial Study prepared for this project did not <br /> identifia any effects that would be significantly detrimental to the public health, safety, <br /> or welfare or be injurious to the property or improvements of adiacent prooerties. <br /> PROJECT DESCRIPTION <br /> The applicant proposes a two-acre recreational vehicle storage area adjacent to an existing two-acre <br /> mobile home park. Approximately 80 spaces are proposed. The facility will be cren to the public, <br /> surfaced with 2'/2 inches of aggregate base, and enclosed by a chain-link fence with redwood slats. No <br /> additional screening is proposed. Customers wiil enter through t"e driveway ;Coated'car.veen the existing <br /> mobile home nark and the or000sed storage area.
