The project consists of constructing <br /> an 1,000 square foot drive-that espresso and food restaurant on a 3.5-acre parcel. The project is <br /> located on the northwest corner. of State Route 99 and Woodson Road, north of Lodi. <br /> This project will require the conversion Valley Grasslands. San Juuquin County is a signatory to <br /> the San Joaquin County Multi-Species Habitat Conservation and Open Space Plan(SJMSCP), <br /> and as such should condition the project applicaot(s) to participate in the SJMSCP.The current <br /> fee for the conversion of Valley Grasslands is $1,690/acre. <br /> Participation in the SJMSCP satisfies requirements of both the state and federal endangered <br /> species acts,and ensures that the impacts are mitigated below a level of significance in <br /> compliance with.the California Environmental Quality Act(CEQA). Although participation is <br /> the SJMSCP is voluntary, lead agents should be aware that if project applicants choose against <br /> participating in the SJMSCP, they will be required to provide altemativc mitigation in an amount <br /> and kind.equal to that provided in the SJMSCP. <br /> U you have any questions, please give me a call at(209) 468-3913. <br />
