Our
office was contracted to do a Soil Suitability Study and Nitrate Loading Study for Mr. De Jong in
September of 2003 for the same property as it was being turned into a specialty coffee and food
store. Please refer to the relevant sections of the September 25,2003 report for details regarding the
Soil Suitability Study and Nitrate Loading Study (NOA Job number LG03-329).This addendum will
discuss only the sections that need to be updated for the current project.
1--1.1 Site Description
The San Joaquin County Assessor Parcel Number for the Site is 005-160-11. The San Joaquin
County Site Approval application number for the previous project was PA-03-00444. The new
project application number is PA-06-410.A tentative site plan, created in 2003 by Monte K. Seibel
&Associates of Lodi, showed that the Site is 3.5 acres net in size (Plate 1). The property size has
not changed. As mentioned previously, the address is 24155 North 99 West Frontage Road
Highway,Acampo,California.
"12 Proposed Development
According to Mr. De Jong, the specialty coffee and food store will be transformed into a cheese and
wine retail shop with a coffee drive through. The current building location and size will change on
site, but the work force will stay the same. The site will have a 2,000 square foot cheese making
room and storage area. All cheese related waste will be hauled to a local dairy farm for cattle feed.
The building is expected to increase customer use approximately 50 percent.
3.0 EXISTING AND PROPOSED SEPTIC TANK USAGE
3.1 Existing On-Site Septic Tank Usage
The site currently has one septic system which serves the facility. Mr. De Jong installed a
significantly larger system for the facility with the foresight that he would possibly be increasing and
changing the size and use of the facility. The current system is comprised of three 60 inch seepage
pits and three 80 foot leach lines with infiltrators. One,2,000 gallon septic tank exists on site for the
grease trap and two,2,000 gallon septic tanks are used for the septic system. ,p
- 5 _ U
