f. All facilities that generate or receive waste/used tires must obtain a Tire Program Identification <br /> (TPID) Number assigned by the California Integrated Waste Management Board (CIWMB). SAN JOAQUIN COUNTY AIRPORT LAND USE COMMISSION (Staff Contact: Rebecca Parker, [209] <br /> 235-0600) <br /> a. New land uses that may cause visual, electronic, or increased bird strike hazards to aircraft in flight <br /> shall not be permitted within any airport's influence area. Specific characteristics to be avoided <br /> include: <br /> (1) Glare or distracting lights which could be mistaken for airport lights. Reflective materials are not <br /> permitted to be used in structure or signs(excluding traffic directing signs). <br /> (2) Sources of dust, steam, or smoke which may impair pilot visibility. <br /> (3) Sources of electrical interference with aircraft communications or navigation. No transmissions <br /> which would interfere with aircraft radio communications or navigational signals are permitted. <br /> (4) Any proposed use, especially landfills and certain agricultural uses, that creates an increased <br /> attraction for large flocks of birds. <br /> b. Power lines must be undergrounded, if necessary, to prevent hazard to aircraft. <br /> c. Regardless of location within San Joaquin County, ALUC review is required in addition to FAA <br /> notification in accordance with Code of Federal Regulations, Part 77, for any proposal for <br /> construction or alteration under the following conditions: <br /> (1) If requested by the FAA <br /> (2) Any construction or alteration that is more than 200 feet AGL at its site. <br /> (3) Any construction or alteration that exceeds an imaginary surface extending outward and upward <br /> at the following slopes: <br /> A. 100 to 1 for a horizontal distance of 20,000 feet of a public use or military airport from any <br /> point on the runway of each airport with its longest runway more than 3,200 feet. <br /> B. 50 to 1 for a horizontal distance of 10,000 feet of a public use or military airport from any <br /> point on the runway of each airport with its longest runway no more than 3,200 feet. <br /> C. 25 to 1 for a horizontal distance of 5,000 ft. of the nearest take-off and landing area of a <br /> public use heliport. <br /> (4) Any highway, railroad or other traverse way whose prescribed adjusted height would exceed the <br /> above noted standards. <br /> (5) Any construction or alteration located on a public use airport or heliport regardless of height or <br /> location. <br /> PA-1600008 Conditions of Approval 7 <br />
