New water lines shall not be installed in the same trench and shall be at least ten feet <br /> horizontally from and one foot vertically above any parallel pip conveying: septage, <br /> sewage, or storm water pipe line conveyance. <br /> 5. If crossing a pipeline conveyance of septage, sewage, or storm water, the new water line <br /> shall be constructed no less than 45 degreess to and at least one foot above that pipeline. <br /> No connection joints shall be made in the water line within eight horizontal feet of the fluid <br /> pipeline. <br /> 6. The new water lines shall be disinfected and then tested by a California certified laboratory <br /> for chlorine residuals and Total coliforms bacteria. Laboratory results that report the new <br /> line to be absent for coliform bacterial and non-detect for chlorine shall be submitted to <br /> EHD prior to making a connection to the Public Water System. <br /> D. If floor drains are required, they must be plumbed through a sand/oil separator and discharged to <br /> an above ground system approved by the Environmental Health Department. A registered <br /> engineer must design this system. The material collected in the above ground holding system <br /> must be analyzed for hazardous constituents prior to disposal. Specific test requirements may be <br /> obtained from the Environmental Health Department. A $260 plan check fee is required at the <br /> time of submittal. <br /> E. If hazardous material(s) is stored on site, applicant must register all regulated hazardous material <br /> stored onsite at, cers.calepa.ca.gov, for all regulated Certified Unified Program Agency (CUPA) <br /> programs. <br /> F. If any quantity of hazardous waste is generated, a hazardous waste generator permit must be <br /> obtained from the EHD. The applicant must also obtain an EPA Identification Number, and <br /> comply with all applicable regulations. <br /> G. All facilities that generate or receive waste/used tires must obtain a Tire Program Identification <br /> (TPID) Number assigned by the California Integrated Waste Management Board (CIWMB).
