d) BUSINESS LICENSE: The applicant shall secure an approved Business License prior to <br /> the initiation of the use. (Section 7-1000 of the County Ordinance Code) <br /> e) PARKING: Off-street parking shall be provided and comply with the following: <br /> 1) A minimum of 18 automobile parking spaces shall be provided, including 1 accessible <br /> space, which shall be van accessible. Accessible spaces shall be located as close as <br /> possible to the primary entrance (C.C.R., Title 24). ( 1 space is required for every 1,000 <br /> feet of building area. 1 space is required for every employee.) <br /> 2) All parking spaces and all major circulation drive lanes shall be surfaced and <br /> permanently maintained with a minimum of four (4) inches of asphalt concrete over an <br /> appropriate base. Bumper guards shall be provided when necessary to protect <br /> adjacent structures or properties. All other areas that are used for vehicular traffic shall <br /> be surfaced and permanently maintained with a chip seal. Aggregate base may be <br /> used for trailer storage areas. <br /> f) ACCESS AND CIRCULATION: The following requirements apply and shall be shown on <br /> the Site Plan: <br /> 1) Access driveways shall have a width of no less than twenty-five (25) feet for two-way <br /> aisles and sixteen (16) feet for one-way aisles, except that in no case shall driveways <br /> designated as fire department access be less than twenty (20) feet wide. (Development <br /> Title Section 9-1015.5[h][11) <br /> g) LIGHTING: Lighting shall be provided and comply with the following: <br /> 1) If the parking area is to be used at night, parking lot and security lighting shall be <br /> installed. (Development Title Section 9-1015.5[g]) <br /> 2) Any lighting shall be designed to confine direct rays to the premises. No spillover <br /> beyond the property lines shall be permitted except onto public thoroughfares, <br /> provided, however, that such light shall not cause a hazard to motorists. (Development <br /> Title Section 9-1015.5[g][4]) <br /> h) SCREENING: Screening shall be provided and comply with the following: <br /> 1) A solid masonry wall six (6) to eight (8) feet in height shall be erected along the <br /> property lines of APN 179-160-36, 179-171-34 and 179-171-05. (Development Title <br /> Section 9-1022.4[e](1) <br /> 2) All storage materials and related activities, including storage areas for trailers and <br /> storage areas for trash, shall be enclosed by a screen six (6) to eight (8) feet in height. <br /> Items stored within one hundred (100) feet of a dedicated street or residential zone <br /> shall not be stacked higher than two (2) feet above the adjacent screen. (Development <br /> Title Section 9-1022.4[e][2][A]) <br /> 3) If parking is proposed adjacent to a residential zone or an existing residential use, a five <br /> foot planting strip is required in the parking lot along the property line(s) containing the <br /> residential zone or use.
