+- I.e
Description of Proposed Project:
The Northern California College of Construction field campus will be located in
Stockton. Training at this site will include the operation of a variety of heavy equipment
by instructors and students. Earthmoving, trenching, excavation and other construction
practices will be taught at this site. Training projects will be generally limited to pad
construction,trenching and road sections.
Field training will be generally conducted from 8 am to 5 pm Monday through Friday.
All field training will be in accordance with Federal, State and local requirements. This
will include safety and environmental regulations. Excavations will be limited less than 4
feet below ground surface.
The existing site is presently an un-used drive in theater with most of the facilities
removed. Site improvements will be limited to fencing and a gravel parking lot for the
students and instructors. An existing well will be used to supply water for dust control.
Water from this well will be pumped into a Klein Tank for storage. Porta johns will be
provided on site for use by the students and instructors.
Maintenance of the equipment will be limited to minor repairs. No fuels, oils or
lubricants will be stored on site. Fueling and lubrication of the equipment will be
contracted to an outside vendor.
