2) All storage materials and related activities, including storage areas for trash, shall be enclosed by <br /> a screen six (6) to eight (8) feet in height. Items stored within one hundred (100) feet of a <br /> dedicated street or residential zone shall not be stacked higher than two (2) feet above the <br /> adjacentscreen. FENCING: Fencing shall comply with the following: <br /> 1) Any gate, other than gates for pedestrian use only, shall be set back or recessed a minimum of <br /> ten (10) feet from the property line unless there are at least sixteen (16) feet between the <br /> property line and the edge of the traveled roadway, in which case the setback requirement is <br /> waived. <br /> 2) The existing gate at the southern access point shall remain open during business hours <br /> 3) All fencing shall comply with Development Code Section 9-1022. <br /> k. FIRE CODE: The following Uniform Fire Code and San Joaquin County Ordinance Code <br /> requirements will be applicable and shall be incorporated in the construction plans before submittal <br /> to the Community Development Department for a building permit. <br /> 1) Fire flow will be provided for proposed buildings by the use of: <br /> a) Appendix III-A of the Uniform Fire Code(public water mains) <br /> b) NFPA 1231 of the National Fire Code(static water supply) <br /> 2) Fire department access roads shall be in accordance with section 9022 of the California Fire <br /> Code and the standard adopted by the San Joaquin County Fire Chiefs Association. <br /> 3) Fire department access to buildings shall be in accordance with 902.4 Key Boxes: A knox box <br /> shall be installed according to fire department instructions. <br /> 4) Fire extinguishers shall be installed in accordance with California Fire Code,Volume 2, Standard <br /> 10-1. <br /> 5) Fire permits may be required prior to occupancy to conduct operations hazardous to life or <br /> property.
