NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING BEFORE THE SAN JOAQUIN COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS NOTICE IS GIVEN THAT BEGINNING 1:30 P.M., ON APRIL 14, 2009, or as soon as"the matter can be head r thereafter, THE SAN JOAQUIN COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS, IN THE CHAMBERS OF THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS, on the Seventh Floor of the Courthouse, 222 East Weber Avenue, Stockton, California, will hold a public hearing and receive oral and written statements regarding the following application and its environmental determination: PUBLIC HEARING REGARDING THE APPEAL BY MORADA AREA ASSOCIATION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION'S APPROVAL OF A NEGATIVE DECLARATION FOR USE PERMIT NO. PA-0800108 OF MASJID UMAR FAROOQ STOCKTON CALIFORNIA, INC. (CIO AMIN MAHMOOD)for a community church with a maximum capacity of 282 people (Use Type: Religious Assembly—Community). The project site is located on the east side of State Route 99 East Frontage Road, 150 feet north of Shippee Lane, east of Stockton (Supervisorial District 4). Environmental Determination: An Initial Study indicates that this project will not have a significant effect on the environment, and a Negative Declaration has been posted. All persons interested in this matter are invited to be present and submit written and/or oral statements regarding the project or the environmental determination at this Dearing. If you challenge the nature of the proposed action in court, you may be limited to raising only those issues you or someone else raised at the public hearing described in this notice, or in written correspondence delivered to the Planning Division at, or prior to, the public hearing.
