Naglee Road,Tracy, California. The Assessor's parcel
number for the site is(APN) 212-080-12. The minor subdivision application number is MS-93-
an 106. John Glick of Quartaroli & Associates, Manteca, requested our office to perform a soil
suitability and nitrate loading study and has provided our office with a site plan.
` A Soil Suitability/Nitrate Loading Study is normally required by the San Joaquin County
Environmental Health Division for project approval. John Glick indicated to our office that since
the Minor Subdivision application dates back to 1993, he thought that San Joaquin County
Environmental Health Department may amend their requirements for the project and require a
nitrate loading study in addition to soil suitability study. Therefore, a complete SS/NLS was
conducted.
A SS/NLS helps to predict whether the parcels are suitable for the use of a septic system and to
estimate the potential impact to ground water quality. The study was performed according to the
requirements of Section 9-1105.2(d) of the San Joaquin County Development.
► Major elements of the field work included an exploratory soil boring and percolation test for
each parcel. An examination of the published soil information, geologic maps, and available
ground water information, exploratory borings logs, percolation rates, and permit review was
performed to complete the investigation.
r
