Land, Land Use and Biota Describe the site's topography(e.g. land forms,slopes,etc.): The existing site has a relatively shallow slope that directs runoff towards the south where the detention basin is located. Describe agricultural land that will be lost as a result of the project(type of crops,acres,quality of soil, etc.): Roughly 1.1 acres of land will be used for the new storage building and associated pavements.The detention area will also double in size to accommodate the increase in storm drain runoff. Describe any vegetation on-site by type and extent: The existing open land area is made up of mainly tall grass and weeds. Several trees are spread out along the frontage and a handful of trees currently exist near the detention basin. A small handful of small trees may be removed or relocated for this project.
