Use <br /> restrictions apply within this zone, particularly with respect to the height of buildings <br /> and the use of reflective materials that may impair pilot vision. An excerpt of the <br /> restrictions within this surface is enclosed for your information and they should be <br /> applied to this proposal. <br /> The proposed subdivision lies outside of the 60 dB CNEL noise contour (the high noise <br /> area in which residential uses are restricted). Furthermore, the residential use lies in <br /> the corner of the property farthest from the runway. However, residents of the <br /> proposed subdivision will experience aircraft noise due to overflight. These noise <br /> levels may be more noticeable due to the rural nature of the area. <br /> Staff finds that the proposed subdivision is in conformity with the adopted Airport <br /> Land Use Plan, provided that all of the restrictions under the Horizontal Zone are <br /> complied with. <br /> Please contact me or Debra Hale of my staff should you have any questions concerning <br /> this matter. <br /> Very truly yours, <br /> w <br /> PETER D.
