SA-99-44 OF JLN FARMS(C/O DON <br /> FRANZIA) <br /> The applicant has submitted the above referenced Revisions of Approved Actions <br /> Application for an approved Site Approval Application to establish an equipment sales <br /> and leasing facility. The applicant proposes to remove Condition of Approval 1.h.(1), <br /> requiring a ten-foot-wide landscaping strip along Newton Road and State Route 99. <br /> The parcel is located on the east side of Newton Road. 1200' north of Cherokee Road, <br /> east of Stockton. <br /> This item is scheduled for the Planning Commission meeting of June 5. 2003 <br /> The Community Development Department will recommend that the Planning <br /> Commission deny the Revisions of Approved Actions application for the following <br /> reasons: <br /> Community Development Department Condition of Approval No. 1.h.(1). States: <br /> A minimum ten (10) foot wide landscaped strip, respecting the ultimate right-of- <br /> way width of Newton Road and State Route 99 West Frontage Road, shall be <br /> installed along the frontage of the project site. <br /> Landscaping along the Newton Road frontage is required pursuant to Development Title <br /> Section 9-1020.7(x) which states: <br /> Landscaping Requirements. All areas not used for buildings, parking, <br /> The project site is located on the west side of Flag City Blvd 300 feet south of State Route 12, west <br /> of Lodi (APN/Address: 055-160-53; 14819 N Flag City Blvd.. Lodi) (Supervisorial District 4) <br /> driveways, walkways, or other permanent facilities shall be landscaped. A <br /> minimum ten (10) foot wide planting strip shall be required along adjacent <br /> streets. The strip shall be continuous except where crossed by driveways and <br /> walkways.
