Plans for an onsite wastewater treatment system(s),designed and stamped by a Registered <br /> f Engineer, shall be submitted to the EHD for review and approval (San Joaquin County <br /> Development Title, Section 9-1105.2).. The design of the onsite wastewater treatment <br /> system(s) shall be based on the findings of the approved Soil Suitability/Nitrate Loading <br /> Study. A plan review fee of$196.00 shall be paid to the EHD at the time of submittal. <br /> x E. The onsite wastewater treatment system or systems shall be constructed under permit and <br /> inspection by the EHD at the time of development. (San Joaquin County Development Title, <br /> Sections 9-1110.3 and 9-1110.4). A separate onsite wastewater treatment system <br /> construction permit and associated fee of$1,100 shall be submitted to the EHD for each <br /> system. <br /> f , Only domestic liquid waste is allowed to be discharged to an onsite wastewater treatment <br /> system. For that reason,the EHD shall require periodic monitoring and analysis of the <br /> effluent from each treatment system installed to show that prohibited discharges have not <br /> occurred. (San Joaquin County Development Title, Section 9-1110.7). A monitoring plan <br /> shall be submitted to the EHD for approval prior to occupancy. <br /> The applicant is required to obtain an annual onsite wastewater treatment system permit prior <br /> to final occupancy. A fee of$450.00 shall be paid at the time of application submittal to the <br /> EHD, and annually thereafter. Compliance with the approved monitoring plan shall be a <br /> permit condition. <br /> ? G. Floor drains shall not be connected to an onsite wastewater treatment system or stormwater <br /> collection system. Floor drains must be plumbed to a collection and storage/holding system <br /> designed by a Registered Engineer, and approved by the EHD. The material collected from <br /> the floor drainage system must be analyzed for hazardous constituents prior to disposal. <br /> Specific testing requirements may be obtained from the EHD. A $196.00 EHD plan check <br /> fee must be paid at the time of floor drainage plan submittal. <br /> H. If hazardous material(s) is stored on site, the applicant must register with San Joaquin County <br /> Office of Emergency Services. <br /> I. If any quantity of hazardous waste is generated, a hazardous waste generator permit must be <br /> obtained from the EHD. The applicant must also obtain an EPA Identification Number,and <br /> comply with all applicable regulations. <br />
